Our Property Beryl's Riding School is on 80
acres of picturesque land, 200km from Perth and is situated between the townships of Collie and
Boyup Brook. Horse riding is available for first timers through to
experienced riders of all ages. Lessons are available, but the real attraction is
trail riding through the bush land, whilst enjoying WA’s renowned wildflowers
and the abundant wildlife. Farm Style accommodation
and full catering is available for individuals, families, caravaners and
campers. The
farm includes all the familiar farm pets (plus a few not so typical) with
70 horses of all shapes and sizes. Spring produces cute foals, piglets, lambs,
calves plus many varieties of poultry chicks run round the farm allowing the
keen photographer plenty of great photo opportunities.
Beryl’s Riding School is an ideal place to stay as it is a short
drive from Boyup Brook; a quaint little town whose main claim to fame is
hosting the very popular annual ‘Boyup Brook Country Music Festival’
since 1985, Collie; a historic mining town which boasts mining and wildflower
tours, museums, supermarkets, specialised shops, local clubs
and Darkan; which although a small town, still has plenty of historic
interest.
Accommodation Our units have 10 rooms, 2
lounges and a small kitchen; the bedrooms’ can accommodate large groups up to
25 people, school groups, families, couples and individuals. There is a
honeymoon room which has a double bed through to the butterfly room which is
big enough to house 9 people.
Caravaners and Campers are very welcome to stay We have plenty of grounds were you can park a caravan or pitch a tent, and you are welcome to use all the other facilities; showers, catering or camp kitchen if you wanted to.
Camps Camps
are suitable for all levels of riders, from beginners to the experienced riders.
We provide a fun, relaxed atmosphere with safety being a great concern. On all
the camps riders are nominated a horse/pony to look after for the duration of
the camp.
